The Village Lake Las Vegas plans to host the Winter Brew’s Best Hand-Crafted Beer Festival from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, featuring more than 50 beers for sampling from local and regional breweries. Last year’s participants included Boulder Dam Brewing, Gordon Biersch, Stone Brewing Co., Tenaya Creek, Joseph James and Nevada Beverage.

P.J. CLARKE’S TO HOST FIRST OYSTER & BEER FESTIVAL

P.J. Clarke’s at the Forum Shops at Caesars plans to host its first Oyster & Beer Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The event will celebrate the success of Daily Pearl Happy Hour and launch a new extended happy hour with specials such as Double Happiness, $1 oysters from "a quarter to three" until 6 p.m. and $3 draft beers from 10 p.m. to close daily. The festival is set to feature six oyster specials and seasonal mignonettes, shucking and eating competitions, a Guinness beer chug competition, beer tasting and pouring by Tim Etter of Tenaya Creek Brewing Co. and food specials such as oyster pot pie, oyster chowder, Ritz cracker-crusted oysters with homemade Cheese Whiz, oysters Rockefeller, baked oysters with riesling and herbs and barbecued oysters. Cadillac burgers with bacon and American cheese will be $5, and tuna tartare tacos will be $1.

FOGO DE CHÃO BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE TO OPEN ON EAST FLAMINGO ROAD

Fogo de Chão, a Southern Brazilian steakhouse, plans to open its first Las Vegas location Thursday at 360 E. Flamingo Road.

Brazilian-trained churrasqueiros or gaucho chefs will present and slice 15 signature cuts of meat tableside from roasting skewers. Southern Brazilian side dishes also will be featured, along with a 30-item gourmet salad and sides bar. The drink menu will include the Caipirinha.

Hours will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until 10:30 p.m. Friday, 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Beginning Monday, lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas, 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to celebrate the annual release of Beaujolais Nouveau with a five-course menu inspired by the red wine, to be served Nov. 17-23.

Items are set to include trout rillettes with apple slaw, tartine of smoked trout with frisee and poached egg and pan-seared whitefish with red potatoes, brussels sprout leaves, caramelized garlic and Beaujolais and bacon sauce. Blackcurrant sorbet with red wine syrup will end the meal.

Two Tickle Your Ribs comedy show fundraisers are planned at Buzz BBQ’s two locations to benefit the nonprofit group Adopt A Rescue Pet.

Via Brasil Steakhouse, 1225 S. Fort Apache Road, plans to offer a Thanksgiving Day feast from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch and 3 to 9 p.m. for dinner Nov. 24.

In addition to the regular fixed price rodizio menu of more than 14 meats, chicken, pork and fish, full gourmet salad bar, more than 30 hold and cold dishes and complimentary side dishes, the holiday menu also will include whole roasted turkey carved tableside with all the trimmings, corn, stuffing and traditional Thanksgiving fixins.

RAMPART CASINO ANNOUNCES THANKSGIVING MENUS

Restaurants at the Rampart Casino, 221 N. Rampart Blvd., plan to offer special menus for Thanksgiving Nov. 24.

The Promenade Cafe plans to serve a special menu from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. featuring your choice of pumpkin bisque or green salad. Entree choices are turkey with green bean casserole, mashed Yukon potatoes and giblet gravy and cranberry stuffing; honey-glazed ham with sugar-glazed walnut brussels sprouts and sweet potato casserole; or combination with roasted turkey and baked ham with sweet potato and green bean casserole. Dessert is pumpkin or pecan pie. The cost is $12.99 per person.

The Rampart Buffet plans to serve Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with prime rib of beef, turkey and pineapple-glazed ham at the carving station. Sides include roasted garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole with marshmallows, five-cheese baked macaroni and cheese, roasted root vegetables and giblet gravy. Desserts include French pastries, pumpkin, pecan, sweet potato and rhubarb pies and sugar-free desserts. The cost is $18.99 per person.

The Carmel Room plans to serve its special menu from 3 to 8 p.m. It will feature three courses, with selections including butternut squash soup or Carmel Autumn salad, free-range turkey with wild rice and mushroom stuffing, spiced sweet potato mash, truffle and smoked Gouda cornbread muffin and cabernet cranberry compote; prime rib of beef with herb-crusted smoked tomato and roasted garlic mashed potatoes with au jus; or crab-stuffed salmon with Yukon mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus and lemon butter emulsion. Dessert is homemade pumpkin cake with vanilla bean ice cream and maple gastric or pumpkin creme brulee with fresh berries. The cost is $49 per person.

CANNERY PLANS THANKSGIVING MENUS

The Cannery, 2121 E. Craig Road, plans to offer Thanksgiving Day menus Nov. 24 at several of its restaurants.

Victory’s Cafe plans to serve a special menu of roast turkey or baked ham from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., including giblet gravy, sage dressing, mashed potatoes, glazed yams, dinner rolls, chef’s vegetable medley and fresh cranberry sauce, along with choice of soup or salad and pumpkin or apple pie. The cost is $11.99 per person.

The Cannery Row Buffet plans to offer Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with carved turkey breast, roast prime rib and ham. The cost is $16.99 per person with a CAN Club card and $18.99 without.

Waverly’s Steak House plans to offer a special menu from 3 to 9 p.m. with turkey and giblet gravy, herb dressing, sweet potato, green beans, mashed potatoes and fresh cranberry relish, along with choice of pumpkin bisque or family-style house salad with assorted breads. THE RESORT ON MOUNT CHARLESTON TO FEATURE HOLIDAY MENUS

The Resort on Mount Charleston, 2275 Kyle Canyon Road, plans to serve a Thanksgiving Day buffet from noon to 6 p.m. Nov. 24, including turkey, honey baked ham and roast beef.

Buffets also are planned from noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 24 and 25.

EASTSIDE CANNERY ANNOUNCES NOVEMBER DINING SPECIALS

All casino bars at the Eastside Cannery, 5255 Boulder Highway, plan to offer $1 hot dogs and $1 Bud bottles during football games in November. Seasonal beer and Wild Turkey drinks or shots will be $2.

Snaps plans to offer a $5.99 build-your-own skillet with choice of meat, two eggs, hash browns and cheese and non-alcoholic beverage from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. Chicken and dumplings will be $8.99 with the purchase of a beverage from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

The buffet will be $7 all day every Sunday in November, as well as Friday for Veterans Day for those with a Players Card. An early bird buffet special of $1 off will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for those with a Players Card.

Carve plans to serve a $24.99 surf and turf special with beef tenderloin, shrimp, seasonal vegetables and choice of potato and a glass of house wine.

Casa Cocina plans to serve its signature chimichanga with a Tecate for $10.99.

The Deli plans to serve a Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries for $5.99.

EASTSIDE CANNERY PLANS THANKSGIVING MENUS

Restaurants at the Eastside Cannery, 5255 Boulder Highway, plan to offer Thanksgiving Day menus Nov. 24.

Snaps will offer a special menu from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (and available daily during November) featuring turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, cranberry, green beans and house salad, served with a beverage and seasonal pie for $11.11 per person.

The Cannery Row Buffet plans to offer a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., including carving stations with roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham and rotisserie rosemary leg of lamb, along with sides such as mashed potatoes with giblet gravy, candied yams, green bean and mushroom casserole with crispy onions and cornbread stuffing. The cost is $11.24 per person.

Carve will feature its special menu from 5 to 10 p.m., including butternut squash cream soup or salad and entree selections of turkey, rack of lamb or beef prime rib, all with sides. Desserts are pumpkin or mincemeat pie or pumpkin creme brulee. The cost is $31.99 per person, and reservations are suggested by calling 856-5425.

THE VENETIAN, PALAZZO ANNOUNCE THANKSGIVING MENUS

The Venetian and Palazzo plan to offer special menus for Thanksgiving Nov. 24.

A holiday feast is planned for 4 p.m. in the Palazzo waterfall atrium gardens. Guests will sit side by side at two 30-foot picnic-style benches. The meal will be served family style with wines.

General admission tickets are $100, tickets for children 12 or younger are $50 and VIP tickets are $120, which includes a pre-party at Laguna Champagne Bar from 3 to 4 p.m. with complimentary selected cocktails. The Grand Lux Cafe at The Venetian and Palazzo plans to serve a Thanksgiving menu including turkey breast, sausage stuffing with gravy and traditional sides for $22.95.

Corn chowder will be $4.95 and carrot ginger soup $6.95. Dulce de leche pumpkin pie or pumpkin cheesecake will be $6.95.

Marie Callender’s is offering take-home feasts for Thanksgiving that include whole meals starting at $99.99. The classic feast features oven-roasted turkey breast or ham, seven sides and a whole pie.

Fresh-baked pies also are available for Thanksgiving, including banana cream, apple pumpkin, mince with rum sauce, caramel pecan pumpkin mousse pie and no-sugar-added pies.
