THREE SQUARE FOOD BANK TO BENEFIT FROM RESTAURANT WEEK
Restaurant Week is returning earlier than usual this year, as Three Square food bank has added a spring edition of the culinary event.
Restaurant Week is scheduled Monday through March 4 at participating restaurants across the Las Vegas Valley, which will offer prix fixe menus for $20.12, $30.12 or $50.12 to benefit Three Square in fighting hunger in Southern Nevada.

THE ORLEANS PLANS MARDI GRAS DINING SPECIALS
The Courtyard Café at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., plans to offer jambalaya with choice of gumbo or house salad and key lime pie for $12.99 in honor of Mardi Gras today.
The Fresh Market Buffet will be $8.99 for lunch and $13.99 for dinner (discounts for B Connected club members) and will serve a special Mardi Gras menu with jambalaya, chicken gumbo, seafood etouffee, crawfish, red beans and rice, dirty rice, shrimp Creole, stuffed peppers, pecan chicken, blackened turkey cutlets, muffalettas, beignets, bread pudding, Kings cakes and pecan tarts.
Free beignets and champagne are planned to be served at noon and 8 p.m. near the Race & Sports Book. All casino bars will offer $10 Hurricanes, frozen drinks or domestic drafts with a keepsake glass.
CELEBRATE MARDI GRAS WITH BRUNCH AT SILVERTON
The Seasons Buffet at the Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, plans to mark Mardi Gras today with a special Mardi Gras Brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The menu will feature shrimp cocktail and snow crab legs from the chilled seafood section and stuffed crab, crawfish boil and shrimp etouffee in the hot seafood section. Other entrees will be jambalaya, spicy shrimp, chicken and asparagus, roasted turkey breast and country fried steak. The carving station will have brown sugar-glazed ham, crusted roast beef and juniper maple smoke salmon.
The cost is $24.99 per person or $22.99 with a Silverton Rewards card. The Mardi Gras Bar will be open for $5 all-you-can-drink hurricanes (guests get to keep the glass). Bottomless champagne will be an additional $3.
ELEVATION BURGER PLANS FIRST LAS VEGAS LOCATION
Elevation Burger plans to open its first Las Vegas Valley location at 5130 S. Fort Apache Road, Suite 240.
The fast-casual restaurant serves 100 percent USDA-certified organic and 100 percent grass-fed, free-range burgers.

KJ Kitchen Dim Sum & Seafood Restaurant has opened inside the Rio, 3700 W. Flamingo Road.

ARTFULLY SWEET FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT SOUTHERN NEVADA CHILDREN FIRST
The third annual Artfully Sweet fundraiser to benefit Southern Nevada Children First is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. March 24 at The Ridges, 11277 Marble Ridge Drive.
Artisan treats, live performances and a silent auction are planned. SNCF is a nonprofit organization that provides long-term transitional housing and life skills training to homeless pregnant and parenting teens and young adults ages 16 to 22.

HASH HOUSE A GO GO TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL PANCAKE WEEK
Hash House A Go Go plans to celebrate National Pancake Week through Saturday by offering pancakes designed by Rick Harrison of "Pawn Stars," "The Price is Right Live!" host Joey Fatone and Flamingo headliner and comedian George Wallace.
The pancake that sells the most at the end of the week will be declared the winner, with $1 from each of the three celebrity pancakes sold going to the charity of the celebrity’s choice. Funds raised by Harrison’s pancake will go to Child Focus, Fatone’s will go to the Fatone Family Foundation, and Wallace’s will go to Smile Train.
Harrison’s pancake is chocolate and peanut butter. Fatone’s pancake features Reese’s Pieces designed with the pieces as eyes and chopped bacon as a smiley face. Wallace’s pancake is coated with strawberry frosted flakes and served with a hint of cinnamon and maple syrup with bacon on the side.

The menu offers three courses paired with three beers for $28 per person. It features a spicy tuna roll, paired with Sapporo from Japan; family-style appetizer of salt and pepper calamari and vegetable spring roll, paired with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
