Five people were hospitalized with serious injuries Wednesday night after a central valley crash between a taxi and a semi truck, Las Vegas police said.
At 9:06 p.m., Metro responded to a call in the 4300 block of Dean Martin Drive, near Harmon Avenue and Interstate 15, Lt. Nick Farese said. Five people from the taxi were taken to University Medical Center, and the truck driver fled on foot.
Dean Martin is shut down in both directions.
