American Legion teams up with group for military job fair
The American Legion has teamed up with the Cincinnati-based RecruitMilitary organization to offer a free jobs fair Thursday for military veterans and spouses.
The Opportunity Expo hiring event, featuring more than 25 veteran-friendly corporate employers, law-enforcement agencies and other government employers and educational institutions, will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The expo is for military personnel who are making the transition from active duty to civilian life, veterans who already have civilian work experience, members of the National Guard and reserves, and their spouses.
