“Sharing the Light — A Musical Celebration of Chanukah & Peace” will be presented by Jewish Enrichment World Services of Las Vegas and the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada at 4 p.m. Sunday in the main theater at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. The event will feature a silent auction and Jewish book sale beginning at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free. For reservations, call 499-5197.

The Las Vegas Peoples Valley Chorus and conductor Marek Rachelski will perform Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” at 3 p.m. Sunday at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson. The concert is free, but a freewill donation will be accepted (454-8484).

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 101 S. Rancho Drive, will have its annual holiday craft and gift market including holiday home decorations, arts and crafts, jewelry, baked goods and specialty foods, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. today, with a barbecue dinner 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (384-1544).

St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, will have its annual craft and “whatnots” holiday sale including handmade aprons, afghans, blankets, ornaments and gift baskets, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. today (565-8406).

Daughters of the Nile, El Giza Temple No. 139, will have a holiday gift and craft show featuring crafts and gently used items including Christmas decor, jewelry, women’s fashions, toys, gift baskets and food, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. today at the Zelzah Shrine Center, 2222 W. The Marthas and Marys of St. John Neumann Catholic Church will have a fall craft show and bake sale including handmade seasonal items and Christmas crafts, crocheted and quilted items, children’s items and baked goods, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at 2575 W. The Sisterhood of Congregation Ner Tamid, 55 N. Valle Verde Drive, Henderson, will have a Hanukkah bazaar including Hanukkah and Judaic items, jewelry, handbags, knit and crocheted items, and gourmet foods, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday (733-6292).

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church will have its annual craft fair featuring handmade items including holiday decorations, jewelry, gift baskets and baked goods, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday in the cafeteria at Centennial High School, 10200 Centennial Parkway (399-6897).

The Women’s League of Temple Beth Sholom will present “A Hanukkah Happening,” featuring vendors including Winder Farms, PJ Library and Relax the Back; arts and crafts for children; jewelry; purses; Judaica; party items; food; and drawings and prizes, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 22 at the temple, 10700 Havenwood Lane (429-0888).

Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1730 N. Collection sites for shoe box gifts for Operation Christmas Child, a project of international Christian relief and evangelism organization Samaritan’s Purse, will be Monday through Nov. 23 at three local churches: Warm Springs Baptist Church, 2075 E. Warm Springs Road, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 23; Meadows Fellowship Foursquare Church, 7801 W. Alexander Road, 3-5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 2-5 p.m. Thursday-Friday, noon-4 p.m. Saturday, 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday, and 8-9 a.m. Nov. 23; and Discovery Church, 4310 Losee Road, North Las Vegas, 1-7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 1-9 p.m. Wednesday, 1-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday and Mondays by appointment.
