Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, New Moon: Meet at the tour gate Saturday at 7:45 p.m. for a two-hour hike with some bouldering at Sandstone Canyon. Arrive 15 minutes early as the park gates close when the hike starts. No dogs or children under 12 years old allowed. For details, call 875-4141.
Red Rock Canyon, Up Fletcher Canyon/Down Trail Canyon: A moderate to strenuous six-mile hike July 15 with some bouldering. Car shuttling is required (515-5367).
