What: Spring Plant Sale. The Conservation District of Southern Nevada will sell a variety of drought-tolerant plants grown by the students at College of Southern Nevada. There also will be plant talks by experts and University of Nevada Cooperative Extension master gardeners on hand to answer questions.

What: Ikenobo Ikebana Society, Nevada Chapter, flower arranging workshop. Fresh flowers will be used. The session will focus on shoka, which represents a partial landscape. In the morning, the workshop will be isshu-ike, using only one material: a flowering plant. The afternoon workshop will be a sanshu-ike, using three types of materials.

When: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Also offered April 11 and 12. The April 11 session is geared toward beginners of those needing to refresh their skills.
