Home show expands to include outdoor recreation
The annual Las Vegas Home Show has been renamed and expanded to include outdoor recreation and recreational vehicles. The newly expanded 13th annual Las Vegas Home and Outdoor Super Show will take place Sept. 18-20 at Cashman Center.
The event will feature exhibitors with the latest in home improvement and décor alongside outdoor recreation and RV technology.
Jim Sibert, show sales manager, said the housing market is encouraging many homeowners to remodel their current homes. “This often includes the addition of premium appliances and energy-efficient products that improve a home’s overall appearance and reduce utility bills. At the 13th annual Las Vegas Fall Home and Outdoor Super Show, everyone will be able to find unbeatable show-only prices and tips for making home renovations easy, affordable and energy efficient.
“This year, we will have exhibitors and home-improvement specialists showcasing everything from custom furniture, energy-efficient products and kitchen and bath appliances to synthetic turf, swim spas, solar heating panels, sun protection, outdoor recreation products and recreational vehicles,” Sibert said. “The expansion of the show to include outdoor recreation and RVs was a good fit because most RV owners think of their RV as a second home.”
In addition to the exhibits, the show will feature seminars by members of Nevada Energy Star Partners, who will discuss ways to make a home more energy efficient; performances by Tillman, the skateboarding English bulldog; and an exhibit on biodiversity and protecting the natural world by the California Academy of Sciences in partnership with AAA.
Show hours are noon to 7 p.m. Sept. 18, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 19 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 20.
Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and free for children 12 and younger.
