Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health adds two physicians

The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health added doctors Gabriel Léger and Sarah Banks to its staff.

In a statement, the center called the doctors “experts in Alzheimer’s disease and the related subspecialty of frontotemporal dementia (Pick’s disease), a form of dementia that causes extreme changes in behavior.”

Léger was assistant professor and director of the neurology residency program at the University of Montreal.

Banks is a clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. She worked with patients with movement disorders in Oxford in the United Kingdom and focused on neurodegenerative disease during graduate school at Northwestern University.

“Dr. Gabriel Léger and Dr. Sarah Banks are much sought after and welcome additions to our staff,” said Jeffrey Cummings, M.D., director of Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. “Our patient volume continues to increase and patients with Alzheimer’s and frontal temporal dementia need and deserve expert care from doctors who have extensive experience, training and research in their conditions.”
