WHAT’S IN STORE
simply elegant
Another diffusion line has hit the market, this time at Kohl’s. Former fashion editor turned designer Vera Wang launched her line at the department store at the beginning of the month. The Simply Vera Vera Wang brand spans apparel, accessories, shoes, intimates, jewelry, bedding and bath. The collection includes such staples as jeans and T-shirts as well as fashion pieces such as bubble skirts and metallic tights. At launch, regular prices for Simply Vera Vera Wang apparel will range from $34 for a long sleeve silk blend tee to $138 for a double-breasted brocade car coat. It makes the ladylike trend that much easier to replicate. Simply Vera Vera Wang, $34 to $138, Kohl’s
spray away
Maintaining your hair color can be a little bit easier if you have the right products. One of them helps you stretch those days between shampooing — Klorane Gentle Shampoo with Oat Milk. The shampoo sprays on as a white powder that you leave in your hair for two minutes and then brush out. No powdery residue. No oil spots remain in your hair. It’s great post-blowout, especially when you paid a pretty penny for that sleek look and want it to last as long as possible. Klorane Gentle Shampoo with Oat Milk, $25, Omni Chemist
intense eyes
The revamped Robert Palmer girls’ look that is making a comeback may have you running to the beauty counter to buy more intense eye shadows. DuWop has an alternative. Its new Payoff is a water-based liquid that intensifies the color of eye shadow and dries quickly. Now your powder shadows can double as liquids. DuWop Payoff, $17, Sephora
double time
Any beauty product that combines two products in one automatically moves ahead on the vanity. Napoleon Perdis puts a blush and bronzer together in his Blush Patrol. Even more exciting, it can go on dry for a natural glow or wet for more contour and intensity. Napoleon Perdis Blush Patrol, $50, Sephora
