Trunk Shows Galore: Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall will be holding a variety of trunk shows, kicking off with a personal appearance by Anthony Luciano today to show his collection of handbags. Today also is Modernist Day, where shoppers can see the latest styles from modernist designers. On Saturday, Brioni Made To Measure, John Lobb men’s shoes and Stella McCartney handbags are holding trunk shows. On Tuesday, see the latest Giorgio Armani collection from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday brings the Clerc Watch trunk show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with the Dior Anniversary Event that showcases the latest handbag styles from Dior. On Thursday, see the newest collection from Gucci from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A Special Collection: The St. John Boutique at the Forum Shops at Caesars is holding a chocolate tasting and informal modeling of the 45th Anniversary Collection on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The collection includes signature knits inspired by classic styles from the St. John archives. Created in honor of loyal St. John customers, the collection features knit dresses, separates and wraps in gold, silver and black shimmer with eyelet knit detail. Third Annual image Model Search: Join image at 6 p.m. Wednesday for the kick-off party for our third annual Model Search on the second-floor mezzanine level at Planet Hollywood Resort. Twenty men and 20 women will compete to win a chance to become a model and prizes such as a fashion spread in image, a contract with the Best Agency, photos from fashion photographer Jerry Metellus and cash prizes.

Foot Fancy: Footwear designer Donald J Pliner and the Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Stars have partnered up to sponsor a fund-raising event in association with Pliner’s upcoming appearance in Las Vegas. The event will be held on Thursday inside the Donald J Pliner boutique at the Forum Shops at Caesars. Pliner will be making a personal appearance from noon to 3 p.m. to introduce his 2007/2008 fall/winter collection and meet and greet his customers. Twenty percent of every shoe purchased that day will be donated to the Greater Las Vegas After-School All-Stars.

Save for a Cause: Macy’s Passport moves from the stage to the store on Sept. 29 with an exclusive shopping event that benefits more than 85 Southern California and Las Vegas area HIV/AIDS organizations. This year’s Passport In-Store events take place in Las Vegas at Macy’s Fashion Show mall and Macy’s Home Store. Participating beneficiaries sell $10 tickets to the event and retain 100 percent of the proceeds. Tickets may also be purchased from sales associates at participating Macy’s stores and at the door on the day of the event. Proceeds from all in-store ticket sales are divided equally among Passport In-Store beneficiaries. Last year, Passport In-Store tickets sales raised more than $31,000 for participating Las Vegas-area HIV/AIDS organizations. Tickets provide shoppers with 10 to 20 percent savings on most merchandise throughout the store during the event. In addition to savings, shoppers will enjoy a bevy of special activities including: signature appetizer samplings from Envy The Steakhouse, beauty consultations with Roni Josef Salon, samplings from New York Apple and Sin City Confections, readings with Mystic Mona, children’s entertainment, live deejay, fashion shows and the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. Customers will also have the chance to purchase commemorative Passport merchandise featured in special silver shops within Macy’s. Open Now: Tiffany & Co. celebrates the opening of a new store in the Forum Shops at Caesars. The new store is configured on two levels and is designed with architectural elements of Tiffany’s New York flagship store, including deco-inspired doors and metalwork in brushed stainless steel. Visitors enter an open and inviting interior with a 30-foot ceiling that soars over spacious jewelry salons, including two private salons and customer service area. Metallic wall coverings and line drawings of hollowware and jewelry from the Tiffany & Co. Archives further convey the overall warmth and elegance that define the Tiffany shopping experience. The new Forum Shops store is Tiffany’s second location in Las Vegas. The jeweler also operates a store in the Bellagio.
