The Jackpot Speakers Toastmasters Club meets at 1 p.m. the second and fourth Sunday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.

IKENOBO IKEBANA

The Nevada Chapter of the Ikenobo Ikebana Society will have Japanese flower arranging workshops from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave. (655-2447).

JEWISH WAR VETERANS

The Jewish War Veterans Post 21 and Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Sunday at Desert Vista Community Center, 10360 Sun City Blvd. (228-7151).

The Murray L. Rosen Post of the Jewish War Veterans meet on the fourth Sunday of each month at the Northwest Leisure Service Center, 3521 N. Durango Drive (341-7963).

AUTISM GROUPS

Cure Autism Now and Autism Speaks have merged and started a local Las Vegas chapter. On Sunday, they will host their first community outreach picnic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Flores Park at the Silver Mesa Recreation Center on Allen Lane in North Las Vegas (267-6922).

‘SILENCE OF NETO’

A free screening of "Silence of Neto" will be shown at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave. A $5 donation will be accepted, with proceeds benefiting the Hospital Hermano Pedro in Antigua, Guatemala (735-5573).

SINGLES TRAVEL CLUB

The Las Vegas Singles Travel and Social Club, for seniors 55 and older that plan local and world travel, meet at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Tap House, 5589 W. Charleston Ave. (888-324-2028).
