Toll Brothers’ Los Altos home models open

Toll Brothers debuted three single-story model homes in their newest community, Los Altos, April 9 in the Paseos Village of Summerlin.

Los Altos boasts four single-story home designs with three exterior styles, ranging from nearly 3,100 square feet to more than 3,800 square feet.

“We know from experience that buyers love single-story homes and we had to go bigger to fit everything they want in a home that offers them the functionality they need,” said Project Manager Elizabeth Andoscia. “These lots allowed us to do that.”

Lot sizes start at 9,000 square feet and peak at 23,000 square feet in Los Altos.

“Homebuyers can do so much in the confines of their yard because of the large lot sizes,” Andoscia said. “The community is also in close proximity to Red Rock Canyon.”

The three model homes give potential Toll Brothers homebuyers plenty of design ideas including outdoor kitchens, pools, water features and even a vineyard.

“We offer out homebuyers a lot of options for accommodating different interests they have,” said Lisa Kaplan, Toll Brothers marketing manager. “This is definitely not your typical cookie-cutter one-story home.”

All four designs are in the $700,000 range and include as many as six bedrooms, 4½ baths, expansive master bathrooms, additional flex space, and three-car garages as well as 10- to 12-foot-high ceilings.

The Alava design plan is the smallest of the four and features three bedrooms, three full baths and 2½ baths.

The Malta, which is not modeled at Los Altos, has four bedrooms, four full baths and one half-bath.

The Taranto features a multigenerational suite, which is an available option in all four designs, and has its own living room and kitchenette.

Toll Brothers put a significant emphasis on indoor/outdoor living in the Los Altos homes as most rooms have large sliding glass doors that open into the outdoors.

“We wanted a seamless transition from the indoors into the outdoors,” Andoscia said. “It gives the homeowner the opportunity to not only live inside the home but in the exterior comfortably too.”

The kitchen in the Taranto also has a prep kitchen behind it with an adjoining pantry to hide any messes while entertaining.

The largest design, the Verano, has four bedrooms, three full baths, one half-bath as well as a bonus room with sliding glass doors that open into the entry courtyard.

While the model home features a glass enclosed wine cellar in the kitchen area, Andoscia said it can also serve as a pocket office.

Also in the model, the master suite is separated from two of the bedrooms by a long hallway, which has a drop zone with seating, storage and desk space.

The Verano’s second one-car garage mimics a child’s play area in the model home and features a pet spa to wash family pets.

Andoscia said 20 lots have already sold at the 78-home gated community and she anticipates the first closing to take place early summer.

“It’s not too big and not too small,” she said of the community size. “I have a feeling we’re going to sell out quickly.”
