If summer turns up any earlier, spring’s gonna be out on the streets holding a sign: Will Make Things Somewhat Warmer For Food.
Series no longer last until the end of May. Some don’t even make it into May.
Which makes room for the Canadian drama “The L.A. Complex” (9 p.m. Tuesday, KVCW-TV, Channel 33).
The “Degrassi”-meets-“Melrose” tale of aspiring entertainers inhabiting a sketchy motel is so likably, goofily earnest, it feels like something “How I Met Your Mother’s” Robin Sparkles might have headlined.
But at least The CW’s trying something new this summer.
Even if it’s still spring.
