Spring exhibit now open at Bellagio conservatory

The 2012 Spring Celebration, which includes a waterfall, hand-painted parasols and a windmill, is on view 24-hours a day thorugh May 13 in the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Visitors can catch Mr. & Ms. Green Thumb, who provide tips and answer questions about gardens, in the conservatory from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and enjoy live music by a harpist and violinist from 5 to 6 p.m. daily.

New with the spring display is a high-definition streaming Earthcam that is perched above the gardens and provides a live look at visitors strolling through the exhibit.

Making its debut at Bellagio is a 26-foot-tall Dutch windmill, surrounded by gardens of magnolias, weeping willow, bottle and plum trees. The garden also includes a colorful 11-foot-tall carousel in a field of daffodils.
