Celebrate season with Clint Holmes
Clint Holmes’ Christmas shows have become such a local tradition that he committed some of the songs to CD.
“Hallelujah” — named after the Leonard Cohen classic that’s had quite the surge of late — is a seven-song EP, though Holmes notes that his showstopping “William the Angel” runs nearly eight minutes, “so it counts for three or four songs.”
Spouse Kelly Clinton and sister Gayle Steele help make it a family affair, which this year adds 7-year-old granddaughter Asia for that chipmunk song.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. today through Sunday at the Suncoast, 9090 Alta Drive. Tickets are $33-$55; call 636-7075.
