Latest DVDs, CDs, books: July 2

A look at some of the DVDs, CDs and books hitting stores this week:

DVDS

“God Bless America” (R): Having recently lost his job and his marriage, a terminally ill man (Joel Murray) embarks on a cross-country killing spree with a 16-year-old girl (Tara Lynne Barr), ridding the world of annoying reality stars and other cultural irritants, in this dark comedy from writer-director Bobcat Goldthwait.

Elsewhere, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa star in the pot-friendly comedy “Mac & Devin Go to High School” (R).

Topping today’s TV transfers: It’s a trip through the vaults this week with “Dynasty: The Sixth Season,” “Mannix: The Seventh Season,” “Streets of San Francisco: Season Three, Vol. 1” and “Streets of San Francisco: Season Three, Vol. 2.” Also out this week: “Man vs. Wild Season 6.”

Chris Brown, “Fortune”: Love him, hate him, love to hate him, there really is no fence-sitting when it comes to Chris Brown.

And so no matter what anyone says, his “Fortune” won’t be affected.
