Halloween parties offer plenty of treats
Break out your costumes, find the fake blood and pick up some bad makeup. It’s that time of year again as Halloween parties galore will dominate the nightlife scene over the course of the next week.
From Paris Hilton’s bash at LAX to Tera Patrick’s celebration at Tao, there will be a little bit of everything for those who love dressing up in their naughty nurse or sexy superhero costumes.
Here’s a look at some of the bigger parties coming our way:
SATURDAY
Rain — The Palms nightclub will host its “Night of the Killer Costumes” party. There will be $10,000 in cash prizes given away as well.
Studio 54 — The 10th annual “Nightmare on 54th Street” continues at the MGM Grand venue, with the first of three costume contests taking place.
Poetry — The newest nightclub holds its Haunted Halloween party inside the Forum Shops at Caesars. Playboy model and MySpace queen Christine “Forbidden” Dolce hosts the event.
TUESDAY
Pure — Illusionist Criss Angel hosts Pure nightclub’s “Haunted Halloween” party inside Caesars Palace. The Luxor headliner will be part of an event that will award $20,000 in total prize money during the evening.
Moon — The “Sabotage” costume party will take place at the Palms venue, with DJ Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys spinning the music. Anyone wearing a Beastie Boys-themed costume will receive free admission.
Blush — The “Trampolleen” extravaganza takes place at the Wynn Las Vegas venue, with $5,000 going to the person in the sexiest vixen costume.
WEDNESDAY
LAX — Socialite Paris Hilton hosts the “Very Sexy Halloween” costume party at the Luxor club. A total of $20,000 in prize money will be awarded for the sexiest and scariest apparel.
Tao — The hot spot will heat up with sexiness as adult entertainment icon Tera Patrick hosts “Taolloween” at The Venetian. Patrick will play a special DJ set, with resident DJ Five joining the mix.
Diablo’s Cantina — The Monte Carlo hot spot could have the craziest set of characters at a Halloween party on the Strip as Beacher’s Madhouse hosts the evening’s festivities. Special performances from Tiny Kiss and Mini Britney Spears will take place. There also will be contests for the sexiest and most original costumes.
Body English — The Hard Rock Hotel nightclub will hold its Halloween bash, highlighted by a performance from DJ Roger Sanchez. There will be a $15,000 costume contest as well.
Cherry — The Red Rock Resort venue will host its “Heaven & Hell” Halloween party. There will be a costume contest for the best heavenly and devilish outfits, with cash and prizes totaling $10,000 being handed out.
Playboy Club — The sexy nightspot inside the Palms will host the official concert/Halloween after party for rocker Marilyn Manson, who performs earlier in the evening at The Pearl.
Blush — The Wynn Las Vegas nightclub has its second consecutive Halloween bash, with $5,000 going to the person with the most original costume.
Voodoo — The Rio nightspot holds its “Mingle & Mayhem” party for the fifth consecutive year. The individuals with the sexiest and best costumes will each walk off with a $3,000 first prize.
