Serendipity 3 is a New York classic with a dash of Vegas

A partnership between the New York owners and Caesars, the new location features many of the favorites from the original, including its “frrrozen hot chocolate,” an array of ice cream sundaes, sandwiches and more.

Diners also will find some very Vegas items on the menu, says Jeffrey Frederick, vice president of food and beverage for Caesars Palace. Spiked frozen hot chocolates, called Frohos, and Las Vegas Strip Steak Sandwiches add a local touch to the offerings.

“From a cuisine perspective … Vegas has always been known for steakhouses and buffets,” Frederick says.

Three steak sandwiches are on the menu, including the Steakhouse Sandwich “Oscar style” and the One-N-Only Las Vegas Buffet Steak Sandwich. The Steakhouse features New York strip steak, king crab, asparagus, jack cheese and bearnaise sauce; the buffet sandwich is about 18 inches long and divided into five sections representing Italian, Mexican, Japanese, French and American food, much like a Vegas buffet.

The restaurant is on the Strip and three sides have an open patio, providing diners a chance to people-watch, Frederick says. The dining room is done in oranges and pinks with an interpretive take on the New York restaurant’s famous Tiffany lamps.

Reservations are recommended. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays.
