Vegas Stripped: Teacher and mother makes time for art — VIDEO

Updated May 11, 2018 - 4:47 pm

Many of us struggle to balance work and family. Some — Natalie Delgado for instance — include time for their own creative fulfillment. Delgado has two young children and is a full-time art teacher at Las Vegas Academy. Her husband, Michael, is finishing his doctorate in molecular biology at UNLV. Delgado is constantly moving, often on a few hours of sleep. But she says she would not feel complete without devoting time each week to pursue her own art.

Vegas Stripped is an Emmy Award-winning series by visual journalist Rachel Aston. Her videos are posted weekly at reviewjournal.com. Contact her at raston@reviewjournal.com. Follow @Rookie_Rae on Twitter.
