Yes, they’re back in Las Vegas in August — twice

Progressive rock icons Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman will officially be known as Yes featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman when they appear at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on Aug. 31 in advance of their summer “Yestival Tour.”

In fact, “Yestival” is making a stop at The Joint at The Hard Rock Hotel on Aug. 26, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. All three were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Friday.

“Yestival” is an Emerson Lake and Palmer tribute to keep that legacy alive and well. Since reuniting for a U.S. tour in 2016, Yes has performed sold-out shows in Israel, Britain, Belgium and Holland, with a Japanese tour scheduled for this month. Due to public demand, Yes returns to tour the U.S. again from Aug. 26 through Oct. 11.

In addition to the tour dates, the trio will be recording new material throughout the summer for a projected album release in early 2018. Also upcoming is a DVD that was filmed at the final U.K. show of their recent European tour at Manchester Apollo Theater.
