Matt Goss to end run at Caesars Palace on Sept. 24; ‘Jason Bourne’ premiere Monday?

British headliner singer Matt Goss is set to perform his final show in The Gossy Room at Caesars Palace on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Heartthrob Goss’s successful six-year run at Caesars entertained audiences with his classic Las Vegas show with modern twist. The tuxedo-clad crooner’s shows have received rave reviews from fans and media, including the Los Angeles Times, which called it the “hottest show in Las Vegas.”

Armed with charm and velvet voice, Goss’s show has been attended by celebrities including Sharon Stone, Jason Statham, Queen Latifah, Quincy Jones, Paula Abdul, Demi Moore, Michael Irvin, P. Diddy, Jerry Lewis and Dick Clark.

“I have a deep love for Las Vegas and the people that live and visit here. Since I was a kid, I have always been in awe of its iconic entertainment history,” Goss said in a news release today. “I have seen shows come and go and realize how hard it is to sustain a successful one, so I am beyond proud and honored to be part of the rich heritage of Caesars Palace.

“I have sold millions of records and have played some of the greatest venues in the world, but I pride myself on this beautiful room that I created with so much love and respect for its history. Let’s all celebrate together at my final shows.”

“Matt Goss has been an incredible addition to our lineup of headliners. We thank him for showcasing his dynamic talents and entertaining our guests here at Caesars Palace,” said Gary Selesner, president of Caesars Palace, in the release. “Matt is a world-class entertainer who has brought his renowned style and glamour to Las Vegas and is a modern-day symbol of what makes this city so daring and irresistible.

“In addition, he has been a tireless spokesman for Caesars Palace and Las Vegas in general. I can’t thank him enough for his many contributions and look forward to the next chapters for Matt and the room he graced for the past six years.”

In celebration of his 30-year career, Goss will headline at The SSE Arena, Wembley, in London on Saturday, Oct. 1. As the youngest man in history to headline Wembley Stadium to 70,000, Goss will be welcomed home by adoring fans to perform in the stadium once again. He has sold more than 20 million albums and headlined tours in more than 20 countries.

Goss performs Sundays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Saturday, Sept. 24. The show starts at 9:30 p.m., and tickets are $55 to $120, minus taxes and fees.
