Friday, April 21

Channing Tatum’s “Magic Mike Live” celebrates its grand opening at the 360-degree Club Domina, formerly Body English, at The Hard Rock Hotel. The chiseled-abs hunks host their after-party at Dish Pool. Channing and actress-wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are walking the casino-floor red carpet with their cast.

Award-winning film composer Hans Zimmer plays his box office hits at Park Theater at Monte Carlo.

The two-day Las Rageous Festival gets underway at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.

Saturday, April 22

It’s the 10th anniversary of Record Store Day, and The Colosseum at Caesars Palace headliner Sir Elton John is commemorated as the first Record Store Day legend. He releases his live album, “17.11.70+,” on vinyl from Nov. 17, 1970, with six previously unreleased tracks.

He said: “I love record stores. I can go to the record store in Las Vegas and spend three hours in there. Just the smell of it, the looking at it, the wonder of it, the memories. I love vinyl so much, the ritual of it, looking at the sleeve. The sound coming out of vinyl does sound better. I know it does. It’s just the wonder of having vinyl.” Sir Elton says he owns 7,000 vinyl records, many purchased at The Wax Trax here.
