Steve Epstein is looking for Mama Mancini’s Meatballs. Fellow readers Ken Wolt and Stephen Salchenberger reported finding them in the frozen section of separate outlets of Whole Foods Market, which has four stores in the valley. Wolt said they’re available there in beef or turkey, but Salchenberger added, “Despite their jaunty radio jingle, I would not buy them again.” …

For Mary Halwix, who’s looking for creamy garlic salad dressing, Karen Galowitch reported finding a brand called Sorelle at Glazier’s Food Marketplace, 8525 W. Warm Springs Road. Noting that it’s made by a pair of Las Vegas sisters (“sorelle” being Italian for “sisters”), she added, “It is excellent and reminds me of a salad dressing served in restaurants back in the day.” …

And for Gayle Percell, who’s looking for Dixie Fry, the Jensens at Village Meat &Wine, 5025 S. Eastern Ave., emailed that they carry it. …
