Even in 2011 there are countless cities in this country where you’d be hard-pressed to find fresh takeout tabbouli. But when Lauren Dean sought it in the south part of the valley, readers delivered. Corinne Johnson recommended Palm Mediterranean Market & Deli, 10895 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson, and Ellen Garland recommended the salad bar at Whole Foods Market, which has four stores in the valley. And Keith Garber emailed that if she’s willing to drive a bit, he recommends Hedary’s at 7365 W. Sahara Ave. …

For Jack Heierle, who’s looking for Macayo’s Mexican Style Taco Sauce & Chip Dip in hot, Diana G. She added that the mild and medium are available at all four local Macayo’s locations. …
