We’re officially into the dog days, so here’s an idea that should provide both relief from the heat and potential savings: Haunt those air-conditioned supermarkets, taking your time to browse the aisles to see what’s new and novel and find a few bargains (I always find that hanging out by open freezer cases is a good idea).
