Vita muffins Dorothy McComb is seeking and Vita muffins she shall find, thanks to her fellow readers. Elaine Halprin and Laurie Brenner found the high-fiber, low-calorie muffins at separate Vons stores. Brenner and Ginny Attisani found them at Target, Laura Brophy found them at Whole Foods Market (which has four stores in the valley) and some Walmarts, and Lori Diaz and Brenner found them at separate Smith’s stores. They also are available at some Costco stores, and Angie Archibald said the best selection is at www.Vitalicious.com (877-848-2877), but advised ordering “after the heat or they come in smooshed.” …

For Bev Greer, who’s looking for watermelons with seeds, Maury Astley emailed that he found them at Smith’s at 9350 W. Flamingo Road. He added, “I bought it thinking the flavor would be better but it was not, and messing with the seeds was a pain.” …

For Jackie Warren, who’s looking for Uno bars, Jeff Ripple reported finding them at the Walmart Supercenter at 5198 Boulder Highway, Pat Allesi found them at Fry’s Electronics at 6845 Las Vegas Blvd. South and Diane Smart found them at Cost Plus World Market (which has stores at 2151 N. Rainbow Blvd. and 3890 Blue Diamond Road) and at the Cracker Barrel in St. George, Utah. …

For Chucky Adamski, who’s looking for Betty Crocker Hash Browns in a box, Smart said she saw them at Albertsons at 10250 W. Charleston Blvd. …

For Mary Schrandt, who’s looking for Dorothy Lynch salad dressings, Erica A. Thomas and Smart found them at Smith’s at 8555 W. Sahara Ave. (with Thomas adding, “It makes a wonderful marinade for chicken”). …

For Theresia Forgey, Ruth Jagodzinski recommended Oroweat’s seven- or 12-grain whole wheat bread, which she said can be found at local supermarkets. …

For Diane M. Garvey, Janet Turgeon said Albertsons still carries Durkee’s Sauce — at least at the store at 10250 W. Charleston Blvd., where she found it on a bottom shelf. …
