Fogo de Chao offering free wine for locals

Fogo de Chao in the Hughes Center, 360 E. Flamingo Road, is offering a locals’ special, starting Friday. With the purchase of two regular-priced meals (lunch or dinner), residents with valid Nevada ID can get a free bottle of wine, a house-label Malbec that normally sells for $84. There’s a limit of one bottle per four guests, and those who don’t drink wine can opt for a dessert instead. The restaurant also is offering a free meal for kids 12 and younger, with the purchase of a full-priced adult lunch or dinner, on Sundays through Thursdays. …

Romano’s Macaroni Grill, which has three locations in the valley, has introduced its Summer Uncorked special, with all wines half-off daily through Aug. 25. The special applies to glasses and bottles. …

Hachi at Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., has revamped its menu, adding such dishes as French bean tempura, hearts of palm salad, warm Japawnese mushroom salad, tuna sashimi flatbread, lobster tacos and Japanese Wagyu beef served “hot-rock-style” tableside, with Hachi dipping sauces. …

Gilley’s at Treasure Island, 3300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, also offers new menu items, with starters such as a giant Bavarian pretzel, barbecue such as St. Louis spare ribs and specialties such as maple-chipotle pork chops and a sweet-tea-rubbed rib-eye steak. …

And Andre’s at the Monte Carlo, 3770 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has added seasonal dishes including the Market Greens blend of 17 greens, herbs and florals; chilled vichyssoise and tomato soup; and pheasant breast. …

Joe’s Stone Crab at the Forum Shops at Caesars , 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is featuring blueberry pie this month, with Michigan blueberries topped with lemon streusel crumble and sweet cream. And $1 for every slice sold will be donated to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. …
