Finding cookies a snap for readers

Sometimes a reader is looking for a very specific item in a very specific area. But even so, fellow readers frequently can find it.

“In response to Marian Garen and Mary Lou Glover’s request for Mexican wedding cookies in the Summerlin area, I have found great Mexican wedding cookies and other delicious pastries and cakes at Cake World” Bakery, 3211 N. Tenaya Way, e-mailed Lois Westover. “While not exactly in Summerlin, everything there is definitely worth the little extra drive.” For those on the other side of the valley, there’s also a Cake World at 220 N. Maryland Parkway.

And Diana Starkus at Whole Foods Market at 8855 W. Charleston Blvd. said the cookies are sold there under the brand name Gianna’s Mexican Wedding Cakes. There’s another Whole Foods at 100 S. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson. …
