“A Handmade Shopping Event” is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at fresh52 Artisans & Farmers Market in Sansone Park Place, 9480 S. Cafe Rio Mexican Grill has opened its sixth location at 4830 Blue Diamond Road. Donations are being accepted there for the children’s pediatric unit of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, and every 25th customer who visits the new restaurant by Dec. 25 will receive a free meal.
