Catfish, shrimp, barbecue on Black History Month Festival menu
Fried catfish, Louisiana shrimp and barbecue from vendors including Seven Seas, Mario’s Westside Market and Soul D’Licious will be served during the third annual Black History Month Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd. The event also will include a children’s film festival, student art display, music, dance performances and more. Admission is $5 for adults, free for children 12 and younger.
