‘Whitey’ Bulger doc debuts at Mob Museum

It’s not too late to celebrate the first anniversary of the conviction of James “Whitey” Bulger.

(Well, technically, it’s couple days late, but who’s counting?)

The Boston gangster, once ranked No. 2 on the FBI’s most-wanted list behind only Osama Bin Laden, is the subject of “Whitey: United States of America v. James J. Bulger.”

The documentary made its Las Vegas debut Tuesday night, on the actual anniversary, with a VIP screening at The Mob Museum, 300 Stewart Ave. But it’s screening there again at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The documentary, directed by Joe Berlinger (the “Paradise Lost” trilogy), played at Sundance earlier this year.

Tickets are $20 and include museum admission, popcorn and a non-alcoholic drink. Museum members receive a 10 percent discount.

For reservations, call 702-229-2734 or see TheMobMuseum.org.
