El Cortez offering digital cameras, NFL hats as jackpot bonuses
Throughout August, El Cortez players hitting a $200-plus slot or a $300-plus video poker jackpot also will receive an official NFL cap (choice of teams, while supplies last), a digital camera, or a $10 gift card to either Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, Sears, Smith’s, Mobil/Exxon, Arco or Shell. Players get to choose their prize, and there is no limit to the number of prizes you can win. However, you must be a member of Jackie’s Cortez Club and using your card when you hit the jackpots.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, Rampart players earning 600 points ($1,200 coin-in on slots, $2,400 video poker; no point redemption required) or Cannery players earning 800 points ($800 coin-in; no point redemption required) can pick up a camp shirt. Rampart players earning 2,500 points on Tuesdays and Saturdays will receive a 7-inch flat screen TV with DVD and radio. On Fridays, Cannery players earning 700 points will receive one free buffet and $10 in free play. There is a limit of one gift per customer per day on each giveaway.
The Cannery bingo room is celebrating its birthday Aug. 10 with free Cannery daubers and birthday cake. You must make a minimum buy-in to join the party.
Texas Station players earning 100 points ($100-$200 coin-in; no point redemption required) on Tuesdays and Thursdays will receive a free breakfast buffet. Or earn 200 points for a free lunch buffet, or 300 points for a free dinner buffet. Points must be earned from 12 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and must be redeemed at the Feast Buffet on the same day. There is a maximum of one buffet per Boarding Pass account per day. The casino also is running a free keno tournament on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Five prizes (including a $500 cash first prize) are awarded every weekend.
Every Monday through Thursday in August, Santa Fe Station table game players receive a free sandwich maker grill when their average bet times hours played equals 40 (examples: $40 for one hour, $10 for four hours).
As an ongoing promotion, blackjack players hitting 21 naturals in 24 hours at the Fremont will receive a logo jacket. Keno players buying a 21-game ticket at $1 per game will receive a stuffed frog.
