Competition seeks sexiest server
A little bit of holiday cheer is coming early for one lucky lady working in the nightclub industry.
Bragging rights and a check for $10,000 are up for grabs Tuesday when Spyonvegas.com crowns the winner of its "Sexiest Server" competition at Pure inside Caesars Palace.
A total of 28 beauties are in the running for the prize, with the majority of them employed at one of the city’s numerous nightclubs, including Tao, Jet, Pure, LAX, Tabu, Cherry, Tangerine and Body English to name a few.

Kardashian coming to Palms club — Socialite Kim Kardashian comes to town this weekend as she hosts her Playboy pictorial release party Sunday at Moon at the Palms.
Kardashian stars in her family’s E! reality series, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
Post-Thanksgiving bash tonight at Polly Esther’s — The "Turkey Day White Trash Bash" highlights the weekend’s events at Polly Esther’s at the Stratosphere.
Specials galore are available to patrons, including a $40 all-you-can-drink offer which includes cover charge. There also is no cover charge for anyone with a mullet or for girls wearing "wife-beater" T-shirts.
Ne-Yo at Tryst — Music star Ne-Yo came home to Las Vegas this past weekend, delivering a surprise performance Saturday at Tryst inside Wynn Las Vegas.
Ne-Yo, who has recorded hits including "So Sick" and "Because of You," grew up in Las Vegas before making a splash in the music industry. He’s also written songs for several artists, including Beyoncé, Rihanna and Celine Dion.
Also at Tryst on Saturday was actor Anthony Anderson.
Rappers celebrate E-40’s birthday at Poetry — Rapper E-40 celebrated his 40th birthday in style Nov. 15 at Poetry inside the Forum Shops at Caesars.
Several stars turned out for the event, which featured a raucous hourlong performance from fellow rappers Snoop Dogg and Too Short. Comedians Chris Rock and Katt Williams were on hand for the festivities, as well as rappers Nelly and Lil’ Jon.
Local punk band The Deadly Seven also made a red carpet appearance at Poetry.
Sightings of the week — Singer/actress Shar Jackson made an appearance Nov. 16 in Las Vegas, dropping by Blush Boutique Nightclub for the release party for her new song, "Let It Blow," at the Wynn Las Vegas hot spot.
Jackson celebrated with several friends, including choreographer Cris Judd. Jackson and Judd both had specific requests for the DJ as well: No songs by Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez were to be played. Jackson was pregnant with Kevin Federline’s child when he left her for Spears, while Judd was once married to Lopez.
Singer Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys was spotted celebrating his bachelor party Saturday at Tao Las Vegas (The Venetian). Dorough was joined by A.J. McLean and former member Kevin Richardson as the group dined at Tao Asian Bistro before heading upstairs to Tao to continue the party.
