Stephen Nasser will discuss his book "My Brother’s Voice: How a Young Hungarian Boy Survived the Holocaust" at noon Saturday at Barnes and Noble, 8915 W. Charleston Blvd.

John O’Hurley will discuss his book "It’s Okay to Miss the Bed on the First Jump" at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Main Theater at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. A book signing and reception will follow (507-3459).

The Writers Workshop at Sun City Summerlin is sponsoring a book fair 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Desert Vista Community Center, 10360 Sun City Blvd.

Linda Weaver Clarke, author of "Melinda and the Wild West," will discuss turning family history into stories on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sunrise Library, 5400 E. Harris Ave., and 2:30 p.m. at Summerlin Library, 1771 Inner Circle Drive.

"The Next Bestselling Author," a writer’s workshop by members from the Henderson Writers’ Group will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Las Vegas Library, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Mystery Book Group meets at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month; First Friday Book Group meets at 3 p.m. the first Friday of each month at Barnes and Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., Henderson.

Saturday Morning Book Club meets at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month; the Celebrate Romance Reading Group meets the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.; the KLVX-TV, Channel 10 Book Group meets at 4 p.m. the last Wednesday of the month; the Young Adventurer’s Book Group for ages 9-12 meets the third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.; the Best Book You’ve Never Read book group meets the second Sunday of the month at 7 p.m.; the adult Harry Potter Discussion Group will have its first meeting at 4 p.m. Sunday at Barnes and Noble, 8915 W. The West Las Vegas Book Club Social Hour is at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at West Las Vegas Library, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd.

The Great Books Reading & Discussion Group meets at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. At the next meeting, the group will be discussing "Goblin Market" by Christina Rossetti; and the Contemporary Fiction Club meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at the Clark County Library, 1401 E.
