SON OF RAMBOW
During a sleepy ’80s summer, two British boys with a video camera — one (Bill Milner) a member of a strict religious sect, the other (Will Poulter) a school terror who makes bizarre home movies — come across a pirated copy of “First Blood,” the first “Rambo” movie, inspiring them to make their own home-grown tribute, from writer-director Garth Jennings (“The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”), who taps his childhood memories for the movie. At Village Square. (96 minutes.) PG-13 for violence, reckless behavior.
YOU DON’T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN
Adam Sandler plays an Israeli secret agent who fakes his death so he can reinvent himself — as a New York hairstylist. John Turturro, “Entourage’s” Emmanuelle Chriqui and Sandler’s former “Saturday Night Live” pals Rob Schneider and Kevin Nealon co-star for Dennis Dugan, who’s directed Sandler hits from “Happy Gilmore” and “Big Daddy” to last summer’s “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.” At multiple locations. (113 minutes.) PG-13; crude and sexual content, profanity, nudity.
