Police arrest man in North Las Vegas stabbing
Police arrested a man Thursday in connection with a stabbing in North Las Vegas.
Israel Zamora-George, 23, was arrested Thursday after a stabbing left two people injured, North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci said.
About 3:20 a.m., police officers responded to a call about a disturbance at the 1000 block of East Carey Avenue, Cavaricci said. Officers found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds and a 37-year-old man who suffered minor injuries.
The 33-year-old man was taken to University Medical Center in stable condition, Cavaricci said. The 37-year-old was treated at the scene and released, she said.
A preliminary investigation shows an argument preceded the altercation. Zamora-George was arrested on one count of battery with a deadly weapon and one count of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, both felonies.
