Man stabbed in throat in east Las Vegas Valley

A man is in the hospital after police said he was stabbed in the throat Thursday night in the east Las Vegas Valley.

The man was stabbed about 9:25 p.m. after an altercation outside 4823 Boulder Highway, near Flamingo Road, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Charles Jenkins said.

Police did not say whether a suspect was in custody or release a suspect description.

The man stabbed was conscious when taken to the hospital, but police could not confirm the man’s condition as of 10 p.m.

“The investigation is in its early stages,” Jenkins said.
