Metro arrests second suspect in downtown shooting of 4 people

Las Vegas police have arrested the other man suspected in the shooting of four people on May 29 in the downtown area.

Detectives have identified Steven Burks, 20, as the other suspect in the argument that led to four people being wounded just after 6 a.m. in the 200 block of Third Street, police said. Burks was arrested Monday without incident.

Pierre Devlin, 32, previously was identified as the suspected shooter in the incident. Devlin was arrested on May 31 in the downtown area without incident.

Both Burks and Devlin were taken to the Clark County Detention Center. Each faces five counts of attempted murder, four counts of battery with a deadly weapon, two counts of discharging a firearm, and one count of conspiracy to commit murder.
