Man arrested in Pahrump wedding shooting

Nye County police have arrested a man in connection with a Pahrump wedding shooting that left two people wounded.

Angel Meraz-Salcido, 49, was taken into custody on charges of attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon, aiming or discharging a firearm at a person, child abuse or neglect and mayhem.

Meraz-Salcido’s bail was set at $717,500. Police continue to investigate the shooting.
