Northern Nevada prisoner dies in Carson City
A Northern Nevada prisoner died Tuesday, the Nevada Corrections Department said.
Samuel Blake, 74, died at a medical facility inside the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City. He was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and had been incarcerated since 1980.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office coroner will conduct an autopsy on Blake.
