Man fatally shot outside Las Vegas strip club Sunday identified

The man shot to death outside a Las Vegas strip club Sunday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

Alxavier Lee Woods, 40, of Las Vegas was shot about 5:15 a.m. at Larry’s Villa, 2401 W. Bonanza Road near Rancho Drive, Las Vegas police said.

According to investigators, Woods was inside the club when he was involved in a confrontation with the shooter. The confrontation escalated in the parking lot, where Woods was shot.

Police were notified of the shooting and found Woods with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died.

The shooter fled the scene before officers arrived.
