Man facing 2 murder charges indicted in 3rd shooting

A 30-year-old man facing murder charges in two separate shootings has been indicted in connection with a third shooting at an automotive repair shop, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Shawn Eisenman, 30, appeared in court on three separate cases, including two murder charges related to the deaths of Ladonna Metais, 46, and Cameron Ryan, 27.

He was indicted on five counts of attempted murder, seven counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of battery with a deadly weapon and several other charges in connection with a shooting June 21 in the parking lot of Carburetor Exchange and Auto Repair by Ray, 4016 W. Charleston Blvd.

Authorities said Eisenman unloaded a hail of bullets toward people in the shop, one of whom was a 5-year-old boy. No one was hurt in that shooting, but police said Eisenman had a newborn baby in the back of his car as shots were fired.

Metais was having a smoke July 3 on the front porch of her 5720 N. Campbell Road home before she was fatally shot in the head. She was standing with two other people during the shooting, and those two people said they spotted a dark, two-door car stopped in front of the house before the shooting, but no suspect or motive was identified.

Ryan’s body was found Dec. 9 near an access road adjacent to the freeway, just north of Craig Road. Police had said Ryan “had possibly been shot where his body was found.”
