Las Vegas police find man’s body in south central valley

Las Vegas police found a man’s body with a possible gunshot wound Friday morning in the south central valley.

Just after 10:40 a.m., officers discovered the body in the desert area of Las Vegas Boulevard South between West Pebble Road and West Agate Avenue, Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.

It is unclear how long the body has been in the deserted area, Meltzer said. Homicide is at the scene investigating.
