Man killed after ‘physical altercation’ west of Las Vegas Strip
A man is dead after being involved in a “physical altercation” with an unknown man inside an apartment Wednesday morning west of the Las Vegas Strip.
Police were called just before 5:55 a.m. to an apartment complex on the 3300 block of South Arville Street, near West Desert Inn Road, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release.
Arriving officers found the unresponsive victim inside an apartment suffering from multiple visible injuries. Medical personnel transported him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said that after the altercation, the man fled the scene.
The ongoing investigation was being led by Metro’s Homicide Section.
The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
