Death of homeless man found in downtown Las Vegas alley ruled homicide

The death of a homeless man found in a downtown Las Vegas alley early this month has been ruled a homicide by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Jeremy Louis Arkansas, 31, was found dead just after 9 a.m. March 7 in an alley at 600 S. 10th St., near South Maryland Parkway and East Bonneville Avenue.

In a statement, the Metropolian Police Department said officers responded to the area for reports of “a homeless camp” and discovered a man with “obvious signs of trauma to his face.” During the autopsy, the victim was found to have a large skull fracture, police said.

No arrests have been made in this case. Police have released no details about possible suspects.
