Police believe cyclist had medical episode before death
A 59-year-old bicyclist who died after a possible medical episode Sunday was identified Monday.
Gilbert Bernhart Wehrli of Las Vegas died about 10:15 a.m. after he fell while riding in a bike lane on Cimarron Road near Charleston Boulevard.
Las Vegas police said the cyclist was traveling north on Cimarron when he fell. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police think Wehrli had a medical episode before his death. The Clark County coroner did not know the cause of death Monday.
