One shot in robbery attempt at Las Vegas bank
Las Vegas police were investigating a robbery attempt Wednesday during which a person was shot outside a Wells Fargo bank on Sunset Road near Eastern Avenue.
Police spokesman Jacinto Rivera said one person was shot and was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition. He said no arrests had been made.
Rivera said the shooting occurred about 4:40 p.m. at 2490 E. Sunset Road.
No other information was available.
