Man shot after fight between boys
What began as a fight Sunday afternoon between two 12-year-old boys ended when one shot the other boy’s father in the leg, Las Vegas police said.
Lt. Ted Snodgrass said the shooting occurred about 4:45 p.m. at an apartment complex near Stewart and Eastern avenues.
Snodgrass said the boy shot the man in his leg after he tried to intervene in the fight between the boys.
The man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Police were investigating the possibility the boy was in a gang, Snodgrass said.
