Inmate, 56, dies at Northern Nevada Correctional Center
A Northern Nevada Correctional Center inmate died Wednesday, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Jerome Urban, 56, who died at the correctional center’s Regional Medical Facility, had a chronic medical condition.
Urban was sentenced in Washoe County and was serving 10 years to life with the possibility of parole for sexual assault. He had been incarcerated since 2006.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Carson County coroner’s office.
